Thomas L. Horton, MD

Dr. Horton is a family practitioner in Rainsville, AL. He spent his childhood and early adult life in Mississippi, graduated from Mississippi College, received his MD from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and completed his family practice residency at the University of Kentucky. Having practiced in various settings including emergency rooms, large academic institutions, and small private offices, he can attest to the problems patients sometimes experience in receiving the medical care they need. As our vice president, he hopes to use his experience to help develop the CTC clinics into models of efficient, but compassionate care. With an interest in medical education, he also aspires to make CTC an important training resource for family practice residents and medical students.
